Layer Cut Studio

Stacked card-stock cuts for names, shapes, shields and certificate borders. Every layer is an offset of the one above, so letters weld into solid outlines. Exports a Cricut-ready SVG.

Negative letter spacing makes letters touch, so the top layer cuts as one piece. Arc radius bends the words: positive arches up, negative smiles, 0 is straight. Thicken beefs up thin scripts and single-line SVG fonts so they cut and weld.

Resizes the spacer layers (card stacks, foam pads, foam tape) to reach the target. Card layers stay as they are.

250–300 gsm card is roughly 0.3 mm. Foam pads give the same lift as a stack of black card for a fraction of the card. Pads are placed where they fit under the layer above, so thin letters may need smaller pads.

Depth

Layer stack, top to bottom

Offset grows (+) or shrinks (−) the outline. A pop layer shows as a stripe when its offset is bigger than the layers either side.

Spacers

Switches every spacer layer at once and keeps the same lift.

Letter holes

Rings carry each outline and pop into the holes of a, e, o and so on. The back stays solid.

In Design Space choose Upload, pick the SVG, and each layer arrives as its own colour with its layer name.
Card stacks are already duplicated, so ten black spacers come in as ten pieces on the black mat.
For a layer with a photo, download its PNG and upload it as Print Then Cut (max 171 × 235 mm). Hide or delete that layer's plain cut from the SVG.
Glue up bottom to top: back, foam pads (or spacer cards, or a run of foam tape), pop layer, then the face layers. The Exploded view shows where each pad goes.
